Den Kit Experience

Families often ask me about outdoor adventure ideas for children, the best way to make a fun den or how to tie knots that are easy to undo! 

So, ta dah ...! 

The Den Kit experience hopes to give you all this and more!

Having your own Den is one of the simplest pleasures in life for a child. If you've not noticed already, children love nothing more than to hide under something whether it's a duvet, a towel or pulling their hat over their eyes  - it always brings a smile to everyone's face.

 Building the perfect den is literally hours/days of fun for children as they problem solve, think creatively, negotiate with others, wrestle with covers/ties to make it all stay up! And after all that hard work, they get to make their own rules for their new safe space/meeting place/holiday camp out!

As soon as the Den building process starts children will be looking to add their own personal touch to their den such as a special toy, blanket or even some 'naughty' food!

That's why our kit includes 10 pieces of plain fabric bunting, wooden pegs & acrylic pens, so the den builders can personalise their new hide-out ;o).

The Den Kit has been designed to have a little something in it for everyone! A tarpaulin & paracord to get the frame up - pegs to make it secure - a ground sheet to hunker down on - a beautiful handmade 'Den' sign - bunting to get creative with and a wonderful adventure handbook full of ideas for exploring nature right from the den itself!
